Audition Music Cuts
All Students should be prepared to sing on stage during auditions. Students will be invited on stage in groups and asked to sing as a group and given the opportunity to sing solo as well. Please use the guide vocal tracks to learn the music and try to learn the songs with the performance tracks as well (unless otherwise noted). If you are interested in a lead role, please take a look at the songs below, you DO NOT need to learn them all, only learn the songs for the roles you are interested in. Keep in mind that the PDF's for the music are cut, as to not put whole songs on the internet. There may be whole sections of the song that are missing, but all the measures that you need are included.

Audition Sides
During our audition, we will ask that students read parts of the script in order to hear their speaking voices. Below are links to different roles for each of the Lead Characters. Even if you are not trying for a lead role, please be prepared to read some lines, as there are lines available for the Ancestors. Below are some tips for you to prepare your audition as well as information on the characters.
-
Know the Characters – Research The Addams Family world! Understand their humor, physicality, and unique personalities.
-
Practice Your Scene – Read through the script excerpt assigned to your chosen character. Focus on delivery, timing, and expression.
-
Consider Movement & Voice – Some characters require big gestures, while others thrive on subtle expressions. Think about how your character moves and speaks.
-
Be Ready for Adjustments – The director may ask you to try a different approach, interact with a partner, or swap roles to see your versatility.
