Some smaller groups include a neighborhood homeowner’s association, local Scouts troops, and supportive writer’s group. The mission of Meals on Wheels, Etc. is to enhance the quality of life for young and old by providing appetizing, nutritious meals as well as support services for seniors which enable them to maintain their independence and dignity.

PFLAG’s mission is to build on a foundation of loving families united with LGBTQ people and allies who support one another, and to educate themselves and their communities to speak up as advocates until all hearts and minds respect, value and affirm LGBTQ people.

Seminole Youth Alliance SYA

Seminole Youth Alliance (SYA) is the Seminole County chapter of the Orlando Youth Alliance (OYA). OYA is a non-profit organization which provides a safe space for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered and Questioning (GLBTQ) youth to gather, talk about issues and concerns that are important in their lives, as well as meet other gay youth. The alliance is a peer based youth group with members ranging from the ages of 13 to 24.
