Seussical Kids Audition Information

Auditions will be held on May 17th from 9 - 11:30. 

We will be having a parent meeting at 11:30. Please be sure to head into the sanctuary by 11:30.  

Payment for camp will be due IN FULL at auditions. We accept Cash, Check (made out to LHCC) and Credit Cards.

Your student will be dancing during this audition. Please NO Crocs or flip flops and if you are wearing a dress please be sure to have leggings or bike shorts on underneath. 

Audition Music Cuts

All Students should be prepared to sing on stage during auditions. Students will be invited on stage in groups and asked to sing as a group and given the opportunity to sing solo as well. Please use the guide vocal tracks to learn the music and try to learn the songs with the performance tracks as well.

Speaking Part Audition 

During our audition, we will ask that students read parts of the script in order to hear their speaking voices.  Below there is a document that you can print out that has different speaking parts for your children to practice.  They are not required to memorize these, but are welcome to try. 

ALL STUDENTS should be familiar with Cat 1, Cat 2 and Cat 3 lines.

If your student is interested in lead role, they can choose from the other lines listed below, JoJo, Horton and Gertrude

Costume Try On Sign Up

We ask that you sign up for one of the following dates to come in and have you student fitted into their costume. This is an important step in getting them ready for the show. The sooner we can get started on fitting costumes, the easier dress rehearsals will run during camp.  This is a required part of our camp, and if you have conflicts please reach out on the WhatsAp.

BASE LAYER Information

Base layers at Impact theater are a way for us to allow kids to get into costume and make costume changes backstage.  We ask that you provide your student with a top, bottom and socks from the lists below.  If you have any questions about the base layers, please reach out in the WhatsApp Group. Keep in mind that these will be worn under their costume, so lighter weight items will be best. 

Girls Base Layers A nude color camisole and nude colored bike shorts and no show footie socks
