Impact Theater is a community theater for youth grades k-12 located in Longwood, FL and is sponsored by Longwood Hills Congregational Church. We produce three seasons of drama productions each year for varying age groups.

All who audition are able to participate in the shows. Auditions are to assign roles only.
Payments can be made by cash, check made out to LHCC or credit card.
Our Directors
Gail Bartell
Director of Impact Theater
Gail Bartell has been singing, acting, coaching, teaching & directing in Central Florida for over 30 years. Prior to creating Impact Theater, she taught drama for 8 years at Orangewood Christian School for grades 5-12. She served as the Education Director at the IceHouse Theatre in Mt. Dora and the Civic Theatres (currently the Orlando Family Stage). Gail has directed children's productions at OCS, The IceHouse Theatre, The Jewish Community Center and several churches in Florida and Wisconsin. She has played lead roles with many Central Florida theatres and has served as a Florida State Thespian adjudicator for 20 years. Gail received her BFA in Voice Performance from SUNY at Buffalo and is a lead vocalist on the Orlando Philharmonic Pop Orchestra’s Andrew Lloyd Webber Collections CDs. She currently sings with the Praise Team at Longwood Hills Congregational Church and enjoys attending and supporting local theatre productions.
Erika Cuevas
Director
Erika Cuevas is a native of Longwood, Florida, and a graduate of Lake Brantley High School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology with a minor in Theatre from Franklin and Marshall College. Erika spent 15 years living all over the country while her husband served as a Marine Corps Officer. She works as a Student Support Specialist at The Christ School where she enjoys helping students reach their full potential in and out of the classroom. Additionally, she has spent the last decade as an alto singer with the American Military Spouses Choir. Erika’s professional credits include performances on America’s Got Talent, at The Kennedy Center, the residence of then Vice President Joe Biden, and most recently the halftime show at a San Francisco 49ers game. Erika loves producing youth theater; she has assistant directed The Lion King Jr. and High School Musical Jr. and co-directed Willy Wonka Kids, Jungle Book Kids, Annie Kids, and Moana Jr. Additionally, she has music directed 101 Dalmatians Kids and Finding Nemo Jr. Her greatest joy is seeing kids' confidence grow on and off stage through their experiences in theatre. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time at the beach with her husband and four children.

Grant Andreae
Director
Grant Andreae is a singer, dancer, actor and balloon artist living and working in Orlando, Florida. Grant received a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Missouri in 2019. After meeting his now husband in Australia, Grant has most recently worked 2 cruise ship contracts with Celebrity Cruises and P&O Cruises Australia.
Grant began his theatre, choir, and band work in elementary school and continued faithfully until graduation. He also participated in multiple community theatre programs in his hometown, Kansas City. After fostering his love for theatre throughout his entire education as a child, he knew a life of theatre and performance was the path for him.
Grant is also an entrepreneur. He began a balloon decoration and event entertainment company, Andreae Balloon Studio, in 2023. He enjoys bringing color and joy to spaces that need it. You can check out all the fun at www.andreaeballoonstudio.com or @andreaeballoonstudio on Instagram and TikTok.
In his free time, Grant loves to take walks, spend time with family and friends, and hangout with Mickey Mouse. He is thrilled to join the Impact Theatre team and begin bringing stories to life with students just like you.
Chase Andreae
Director
Chase Andreae is an experienced performer who recently relocated to Florida with his husband, Grant, in 2023 after working for 2 years performing on cruise ships. Chase has cultivated his passion for the arts in his home state, Indiana, obtaining a BFA in Musical Theatre from Ball State University. There he had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed talents and directors including Broadway star, Sutton Foster.
His career has taken him to various stages, including performing at 5 theme parks and various professional theatres. Growing up, he has been a part of a children’s touring theatre for seven summers. In 2018 and 2019, he was a counselor for theatre workshops with Pickleville Playhouse in Utah.
When he’s not immersed in the world of theatre, he enjoys indulging in reality TV, exploring the enchantment of Disney, and cherishing quality time with his nephews.
